Greetings from Venilla, Anbalagan and Sridhar.
It has been a pretty slow month
but we are glad to share with you how we are still holding on and waiting for
all the legal procedures to be done. We have been meeting with our Land lord
and trying to get our lease agreements signed and verified, it has been very
challenging process. We are so excited to let to know that we are almost 95% of
getting our own space. Praise God for that!! After waiting so patiently for a
long time we are finally blessed with it. Thank you everyone for praying for this
specific need.

During this month God has been teaching us through Romans 15:13, He
has taught us to hold on and keep putting our hopes completely in the Lord and
not depending on our wisdom. For when we lean on him for everything we need, there
is complete joy and peace despite the circumstances. We know for sure that the Holy
spirit is always with us through every step we take even though we try to push
him aside and try to work on own skills he is always there to remind us he is
right next to us.
We are so excited to start renovating the
whole place. We’ve been brainstorming on creative ideas for the interior design
of the cafe. We finally decided that we want to go with a steam punk theme
cafe. It’s been so interesting and fascinating to search and find a ton of new
ideas on how we can set up our cafe using gears and industrial looking materials.
We also started sourcing for our croceries that would go along with our theme. Next
month is going to be a very busy and an awesome month for us as we start with
setting up the whole cafe.

Best part of this month has been
experimenting some new pies. We made pumpkin pie which was so perfect for this
season. We made a chocolate cream pie which turned out so delicious and its Venilla’s favorite pie (You guys should know that hahaha!!). Guess what!! We
also made this amazing lemon meringue pie, keep this in mind we had no idea
what it was until we made it and tasted it. This was our first time ever making
this and it was fabulous. The people who tasted it, they all loved it. We have also been experimenting on some new coffee drinks like the salted caramel mocha.

We had a great time celebrating Sridhar’s
Birthday this month. We are blessed to have him a part of this journey. We went
out to an Andhra style restaurant for dinner. We had a good time celebrating.
